Time for Modern Science and Old-School Woo to Marry

The more I deepen my personal leadership, the more understandable it becomes what I once considered woo and strange. I have a very curious and open mind that makes me want to know and understand before I do and realize. What I feel step by step is that many things are discussed in the same way, but in different languages. Unfortunately, this often leads us to fight instead of curiously trying to find mutual understanding in our communication with other individuals, including animals.

My insightful husband, Daniel, said to me: “All beings can choose to meet in one and the same language – the language of energy.”
I think I’ll try to lead us to an understanding of the language of energy through two different tracks: quantum physics and ancient wisdom.

Our Energy & Quantum Physics / Nature’s Ancient Wisdom

It’s time we have the courage to let science and ancient wisdom meet. Let’s play with the insights of quantum physics about the invisible magic of the universe and see how it resembles what shamans have preached for thousands of years. Today’s science and the teachings of shamans may be completely different perspectives—or, upon closer examination, the connections turn out to be strikingly similar.

Quantum physics reveals that everything in the universe is energy. For a long time, humans thought atoms were solid, but in reality, they are vibrations of energy moving through empty space. This discovery makes the shamanic perspective that the world consists of an interconnected web of energy, where everything living—beings, stones, trees, and rivers—is part of a larger whole, perhaps not so woo after all.

The concept of the quantum field: an invisible matrix of energy that permeates everything and binds us together. Shamans often call the same thing “the sacred web” or “life force.”
This energy is, according to both traditions, fundamental to our existence, good health, and well-being.

Surprise 😊

The human body is also part of this quantum field. Our brain and heart generate electromagnetic fields that can be measured with scientific instruments, and these fields influence both ourselves and our environment through frequencies.
Shamans call this same energy field the life energy of beings, and this life energy has different names in different languages, such as “prana,” “chi,” or “causal energy.” When we, beings, are in balance, our energy vibrates in harmony with nature, a state that some shamans describe as being “one with everything” – the language of energy.

Quantum physics’ theories of resonance can explain the shamanic view because when two systems vibrate at the same frequency, resonance occurs, a reinforcement of energy (“woo” calls it the law of attraction). This phenomenon is also used in modern science/technology—could it be the key to people’s ability to create connections with each other and nature?

Shamans’ ancient wisdom has long used rituals to “calibrate” people’s energy fields until they dance to the rhythms of nature.

Healing and Balance Through Energy

Shamans have an intuitive ability to understand their connection to the laws of nature, while modern humans have just discovered through quantum biology that imbalances in beings’ energy fields can lead to illness. Shamans use ceremonies and natural elements to restore balance, while science has only just begun to explore this area. We, modern humans, are doing everything to destroy the nature that we are so incredibly dependent on for our survival along with all the other beings here on Earth.

Laws of Nature

The first time I heard the term “ground yourself,” I thought: what a crazy person! But after becoming familiar with the secret world of quantum physics, I could combine logical competence with intuitive competence, which led me to follow my natural self into nature to restore my health.

Shamans’ intuitive competence has demonstrated—and modern studies have shown—that grounding has an effect on reducing stress and inflammation—physical contact with the earth neutralizes free radicals in the body.

Quantum physics and shamanism use different languages, but they speak about the same reality. One calls it the quantum field, the other the web of life. Both tell us that we are interconnected, that our energies influence and are influenced by the world around us.

If we can learn to understand and honor these connections, we can not only achieve personal balance but also become better “caretakers” of the planet we share. Nature’s ancient laws and modern science’s insights are not opposites in my view. For me, they are puzzle pieces in a deeper, fascinating mystery 😊.
